Jamie Brackenrich,
MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Founder | Nurse Practitioner
Jamie is the founder and medical director of Align Neurology in Roanoke, Virginia. She is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice for over 12 years; for the last three years, she has worked in Neurology, specializing in headaches. She holds an additional qualification in Headache Medicine from the National Headache Foundation.
Ms. Brackenrich received her undergraduate nursing degree in nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Radford University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from Roanoke College.
Ms. Brackenrich has advanced training and certification in Botox for Chronic Migraines.
She is a leader in the field of Headache Medicine and is recognized by her colleagues for her expertise in Headaches. She is also a frequently invited local speaker on the topic of headaches.
Ms. Brackenrich is a lifestyle medicine expert and someone who has suffered from migraine and headaches.
She lives in the Roanoke Valley with her son and Labradoodle, Rudy. She enjoys running, CrossFit, the mountains, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lindsey Hill,

Nurse Practitioner | Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Lindsey is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a clinical background in neurology and critical care. She began her nursing career in the neurological intensive care unit, caring for patients with complex neurologic conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and seizure disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Radford University.
Lindsey has a particular clinical interest in the care of patients with neurologic conditions, including chronic migraine. Having personally experienced migraines, she brings a deep understanding of their impact on daily life and is especially committed to compassionate, evidence-based care for patients navigating this condition.
She also has several years of experience in aesthetic medicine, offering neuromodulator and dermal filler treatments with a focus on anatomical precision and patient-centered care.
She is known for her approachable style and commitment to thoughtful, individualized treatment planning that supports patient well-being and confidence.
Laurel Wagoner
Licensed Master Esthetician
Laurel is a licensed Master Esthetician with a passion for corrective skincare and helping clients feel more confident in their skin. She loves creating personalized treatment experiences that are both relaxing and results-driven, with every service tailored to her clients’ individual skin goals.
She offers a variety of advanced treatments including Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, and head spa treatments. Laurel is especially passionate about skin health and enjoys helping clients better understand their skin through thoughtful recommendations and education.
Clients know Laurel for her warm personality, calming presence, and genuine care for making people feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their skincare journey.

Renee Bowen
Renee is a Certified Medical Assistant with 14+ years’ experience specializing in neurology and Botox/infusion prior authorizations. Expert at navigating insurance processes, coordinating patient care, performing blood draws and IV assistance, and securing timely approvals for specialty treatments. Known for meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and a patient-focused approach that supports providers and improves clinical workflows.
Graduated from Chattanooga State (May 2000). Based in Christiansburg, VA since 2006. Outside of work she enjoy movies, bowling, travel, and life at home with her boyfriend and three cats.

Dawn Wilhelm, CPC, CCC, CCVTC
With over 25 years of experience as a certified medical coder, Dawn brings a deep understanding of healthcare documentation, compliance, and revenue cycle accuracy. Her career in the medical profession began in 1995 as a radiologic technologist, gaining firsthand clinical knowledge and a Strong toundation in patient care. In 1996, Dawn joined a chiropractic clinic where she was first introduced to the world of coding and billing. From there she transitioned into the cardiovascular realm where she continued to grow and excel in coding for the next 19 years. Her unique background allows her to bridge the gap between clinical practice and precise coding.
In the Spring of 2025, Dawn joined Align Neurology, bringing that same attention to detail, curiosity, and commitment to getting things right. Her goal is to help Align providers improve accuracy, reduce denials, and strengthen overall revenue cycle performance. She is committed to detail, efficiency, and integrity in every aspect of her role at Align Neurology.
Dawn lives in Botetourt County with her husband and two sons. She enjoys crafting, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
